The full 802.11ac Wave 2 network was established to anticipate future IoT device and location service needs while supporting the merged hospitals and provide better network connectivity to users.

HIT Infrastructure noted that the main driver behind this move was to facilitate growing mobility requirements and IT infrastructure initiatives. With Aruba’s services, the hospital can deliver better speed to efficiently use mobile equipment like IV pumps, clocks and ultrasound devices to send and receive data.
